Y’all I Found FODMAP FREE Taco Seasoning & I Am In Love!

So as I mentioned above I found a FODMAP free taco seasoning and both made it and used it on beef for the first time tonight and I am in LOVE. I may be a little too excited about this, but my family nickname growing up was Senorita Burrito. The running joke was I wouldn’t eat it if it wasn’t in a tortilla I was so picky. I’m a bit better as an adult — just a bit. Of course, it probably helps that I also found a cilantro lime recipe recently and made that for the first time tonight too and loved it. Those were some good burritos! The 3 year old doesn’t know what he’s missing. I’m starting to sound like one of those overly flowery rambling blogs I can’t stand so without further ado, the recipes.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos (Taco Seasoning recipe is below it)

The recipe for the seasoning says low-FODMAP not FODMAP free, but I don’t see any FODMAPS although she notes that ancho chili powder hasn’t been tested and some people are sensitive to spicy foods so I guess YMMV (your mileage may vary).

**Make sure the chili powder you buy is onion and garlic free** I used McCormick Ancho Chili Powder in the glass bottle with a green label which doesn’t list any other ingredients. When I emailed McCormick about their chipotle chili powder a couple of weeks ago they said there was no onion or garlic so I’m hoping this holds true here as well.

Cilantro Lime Rice

The cilantro lime rice is ridiculously easy to make. I used water instead of broth since I don’t have much broth in the freezer right now and added extra zest since my 1 lime didn’t produce 2 tablespoons of juice, but I’m still in love with it.
